The squad includes a number of star names, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Bernardo Silva and Joao Felix. However, there are also some surprise inclusions, such as Goncalves and Braga defender David Carmo.

Martinez will be hoping that his squad can gel quickly and make a strong challenge for the trophy. Portugal are one of the favourites to win the tournament, and they will be looking to add to their European Championship titles from 2016 and 2020.

The tournament will be held in Germany from 14 June to 14 July 2024. Portugal have been drawn in Group B alongside Germany, France and Hungary.
